Thanks for Repairing the Tomb of Jesus, but He is Still Not There (GLMX #273)
March 26, 2017 Daniel Whyte III

This past week, the traditional tomb of Jesus in Jerusalem was re-opened to the public after nine months of meticulous repairs. According to CNN, the burial chamber where Christ is believed to have been entombed is situated in the heart of the Christian quarter in Jerusalem's Old City. The small limestone and marble structure built on the site identified in the 4th century as Jesus' resting place following his crucifixion received much-needed repairs. The repairs were completed a few weeks ahead of Easter when, once again, thousands of believers from around the world will converge on the site to mark the death, burial, and resurrection of Christ. After the Easter season, a second phase of restoration is set to begin. The first phase cost over $3.7 million.
